Yoga

Our most popular wellbeing class for teachers and students alike, we cater to all age groups. Performed either in your hall/gym or an outdoor area, participants need room to stretch and move, whilst feeling comfortable. Yoga mats can be purchased from us, otherwise you can substitute with a gym mat and a towel.

Pilates

A great workout to strengthen your core muscles, as you learn how to engage your abdominals and protect your back. This class is fantastic for all adults, and students wanting an alternative type of work out. As with yoga, it compliments other school sporting activities eg. Swimming, football, gymnastics, running & athletics.

Boot Camp 

Boot camp workouts are intense exercise sessions that challenges every muscle in your body, best suited to older teenagers, teachers and parents. By rapidly moving from exercise to exercise with little rest in between, you tone and firm muscles while getting a good cardiovascular workout at the same time. These sessions are known as boot camp workouts because the exercises used are similar to those the military employees to keep recruits in shape.

One reason that boot camp workouts work so well for weight loss and toning muscle is that these fitness workouts are based on exercise science and physiology, using the proven techniques of resistance and cardiovascular training, as well as specific weight training exercises. Building muscle is essential to boosting the body's metabolism and effectively and efficiently losing weight by burning more calories throughout the day.

Boxercise  

Boxercise is a great high energy stress busting workout, and can be tailored to suit high school boys, girls, teachers and parents. It is considered one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It combines a cardio workout with a conditioning workout to help you increase your fitness and stamina, lose weight and tone up all at the same time, making it one of the most effective ways to exercise.

Classes can take a variety of formats but typically will involve shadowboxing, pad work, skipping, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. This is a diverse workout, which also enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing and is guaranteed to be fun, energetic and motivational. Our motivational instructors are happy to provide all equipment
